Editing Course Details

Editing course details in the LMS is essential for keeping content current and aligned with your organization's goals. Here’s how you can efficiently updating course information.

Step 1: Access Course Management

  • Begin by logging into your LMS account using your credentials.

  • Access the Admin Portal section from the main dropdown menu.

  • Choose the "Manage Courses" option to enter the course management interface.

Step 2: Locate the Course:

  • Inside the course management interface, find the course you wish to edit.

  • Click on the “kebab menu” (three dots) next to the course.

Step 3: Choose "Edit Course"

  • From the dropdown menu, select "Edit Course Details"

  • This will open the course editing interface.

  • Click on the “Edit Course” button beside the Course Title top open up the course editing side bar.

Step 4: Modify the Course Details

  • Within the editing interface, modify the necessary course details. Common details to edit include:

    • Title: Edit the course title to reflect any changes.

    • Description: Modify the course description for clarity and relevance.

    • Add an Image: Enhance the course by adding a relevant and engaging image.

    • Set to Draft Mode: Choose whether the course should be visible on the dashboard or in draft mode for internal editing.

    • Pricing (Paid or Free): Configure whether the course is free or paid, and set pricing details accordingly.

    • Categories: Assign or update categories to organize and group similar courses.

    • Positions to Assign the Course: Specify which positions or roles should have access to the course.

    • Curriculum to Assign the Course: Designate the curriculum to which the course belongs.

Step 5: Save Changes

  • After editing the course details, click the “Save” button. This ensures that the changes are applied and saved.
